Maintaining lean body mass and increasing bone density are essential for women as they age. Strength training will help you accomplish both of these while also improving your body composition and metabolism.
This six-week class includes training and instruction using dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, targeted machines, resistance bands, and body weight exercises. Focus will be on learning or improving the basic movements like squats, rows, lunges, and presses. Workouts are accessible so everyone can get the most from their workouts. Strength training will not make you bulky- it will make you stronger and it may make you want to do more.
